Well, this is my first real blog to this website, as opposed to a response to one of my letters to the editor. You'll be glad to know that it's very brief – but I did want to get two very concise requests out to you.
I must say, this has been a very entertaining week. It is disappointing to see so many comments which include that oh-so-nasty habit of name-calling. So my requests and challenges out to you are:
1. Can we all be adults and back away from that nasty name-calling practice, and have some substantive and intelligent dialogue about real issues? The other request, or challenge, I would have is:

2. Is is possible for those who write under pseudonyms, be open and up-front and use your real names, as some of us are doing? Be brave and courageous and put yourself out there.
