Report streelight outages

Having properly lit intersections is important for traffic and pedestrian safety.  Unless you're in a private parking lot, your tax dollars are paying for each of these lights whether they are working or not. Take a few moments to look at the street lights in your neighborhood the next time you're outside.

Are they on during the day?

Are they flickering, dim, or not lit at night?

Look at the condition of the pole the lights are mounted to.  Is the pole rotting or corroding at the base?  Street lights can, and do fall over.

Has the pole been damaged by a vehicle?

If you find any lights with problems write down the pole number and the address nearest to the pole. Anyone can then report street light problems by using First Energy's online form located at https://www.firstenergycorp.com/content/customer/outages_help/Report_Str...
