Should our Township website updated to reflect a more user-friendly approach in information flow?

Information technology has become one of the backbones of our society with the uses of portable hand held devices, Internet and high-speed access to information.

Statistically, based on various U.S. Government website usages:

  • USA in 2009: 74.1% have access within their homes

 

  • New Jersey: 83% have access within their homes

The usage of this access, I believe, is greatly underutilized within our township. While I do recognize the Nixle and our "website," I think we can increase the access and information flow.

So my question is: Should our township website be updated to reflect a more user-friendly approach in information flow?
