Bridge Walk Aims to Raise Funds for Local Schools
Third Annual Bridge Walk Scheduled for Saturday

The Parent-Teacher Associations of Stafford Township Schools and the Long Beach Island School District with the Special Education PTA of the Southern Regional School District will host their Third Annual Community Bridge Walk event on Saturday, Sept. 22.
Last year, 1800 people crossed the span of the Dorland J. Henderson Bridge to raise money for three local school systems. The opening ceremonies for the walk start at 9:30 and the walk starts at 10 a.m. from Mud City Crab House in Stafford. Bus transportation will be provided to Mud City Crab House from designated satellite parking areas.
Since the theme this year is luau, the event will feature Hawaiian Luau Show dancers at Mud City and at the Ship Bottom Park and the National Anthem performed by Chris Fritz.
