Brooklyn Man Drove Drunk, Hit ACME Building In Barnegat
Albert Billeci Jr. left the scene of the accident, which occurred at 9:57 a.m. on April 10, police said.

Barnegat police recently arrested a Brooklyn man for drunk driving after he struck the ACME store, then fled the scene, according to the Barnegat Police Department Facebook page.
Patrolman Andrew Parsley arrested Albert Billeci Jr., 25, at 9:57 a.m. on April 10 in the ACME parking lot, after his vehicle hit the store.
Billeci's vehicle was impounded for 12 hours in accordance with John's Law. He was charged with driving while under the influence, reckless driving, failure to report an accident, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, leaving the scene of an accident, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, police said.

Police also charged Jacqueline Leonardo, 29, Brooklyn, a passenger in the car, with possession of marijuana under 50 grams. She was processed and released on a summons.
