The Bengal Theatre Company of Barnegat High School is proud to present Something Rotten! This wildly funny modern musical was a smash hit on Broadway, and is sure to keep the audience laughing all night!! It's a love letter to musical theatre, and a true celebration of creativity and the beauty of being an artist!! You'll love it!! Tickets are $15 for adults, and $10 for students and seniors, and can either be reserved at <a href="https://www.bengaltheatre.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">www.bengaltheatre.com</a>, or purchased at the door. The performances are from April 23rd through the 25th at 7:00 PM, and April 26th at 2:00 PM. All performances will take place in the auditorium at Barnegat High School, 180 Bengal Blvd. Barnegat, NJ 08005.

In the late 1800s, it wasn’t uncommon to come to the Jersey shore and see permanent installations of pound nets. These nets were wound around tree saplings pounded into the sand offshore and used to trap fish. The runner-supported pound fish baskets were used to haul 50 pounds of fish off the beaches. During this program, you will be adding a contemporary spin to this traditional basket by including porcelain handles. You will love the modern results! Pack a bagged lunch. Declining Monarch butterfly populations have led them to be listed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature as an endangered species in 2022. We need to do what we can to help them survive. Sue Masoorli, Rutgers Master Gardener, will address gardening basics, including specific host flowers, water, and habitat needs. AGES: 10 years – Adult. FEE: $5.00 per person.

Albert Music Hall

Since 1974, Albert Music Hall has offered a lively stage for traditional music in Waretown, New Jersey. Every Saturday night, the hall comes alive with the sound of live Bluegrass, Country, Folk, Americana, Old Timey, and Pinelands music.&nbsp;
The Saturday Night show will feature 5 bands throughout the evening. Check https://alberthall.org for the latest information about the band lineup.
Doors open at 5:30pm / Music 6:30 - 9:00pm.
Admission $6 for adults/$1 for children under 12. Cash only.&nbsp;
The Pickin’ Shed and porch are open for informal jam sessions starting at 5:30 pm. It’s a great opportunity to learn, play, and connect with other musicians. Musicians of all skill levels are welcome — bring an instrument and join the jam!
The snack booth will be open offering hot dogs, cheeseburgers, Vegan “chik’n” patties and other hot food options as well as desserts, beverages and more, so folks can come have dinner with us.&nbsp;
The gift booth is fully stocked with souvenirs and gifts including Albert Music Hall t-shirts and mugs. There will be a 50/50 drawing. Parking is free. The venue is wheelchair accessible and is cash only.

Please be prepared to walk a mile. Dress for the weather, wear comfortable sneakers or boots, and bring a pair of binoculars. If inclement weather, the program will be canceled. All ages welcome. No cost.
