Carl A. 'Skip' Armitage Jr. Of Manahawkin Dies At 68

Carl A. “Skip” Armitage Jr., 68, of Manahawkin, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2015 with his family by his side. He was born in Cranford, and lived in Little Egg Harbor, J prior to Manahawkin where he lived for the last five years.

Carl worked as a stock clerk for Shoprite in Clark.

He is survived by his wife Sheryl A. Parker Armitage, his two sons; Jason Armitage and his wife Katie of Little Egg Harbor and Ryan Armitage of Manahawkin, his brother William Armitage of Maine, his three sisters; Candace Lewis of FL, Doris Lienhard of NJ, Susan Armitage of New Jersey, and his granddaughter Emily.

Visiting hours were be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A graveside service and interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin.
