Chair Of Honor To Be Unveiled In Stafford
The chair will remain empty in the Stafford Township Municipal Courtyard in honor of soldiers who were prisoners of war or went missing.

STAFFORD, NJ — In memory of soldiers who were prisoners of war or went missing in action, Stafford Township will be unveiling a Chair of Honor on Sept. 15, National Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Recognition Day.
Chairs from the POW/MIA Chair of Honor program can be found across the United States. These chairs are to remain empty permanently as a reminder that while those soldiers are not currently here, there is still a space saved for them.
The chair was donated by Rolling Thunder, a non-profit organization that’s mission is to educate the public about POW/MIA issues.
