Check out "Shelf Life" in Beach Haven on Saturday Night
A dark comedy of petty office politics in a library is this month's offering from the Lighthouse International Film Festival.

As part of its ongoing winter film series, The Lighthouse International Film Festival will screen “Shelf Life” Saturday, Mar. 21 at 8 p.m. at the Island Baptist Church, 215 3rd St., Beach Haven. Admission is $5.00 and free to LIFS members
According to Variety magazine “’Shelf Life’ posits the public library as a war zone between a free spirit and a power-addled librarian, and taps into a fresh source for American comedy. “
In this award-winning dark comedy of petty office politics in a library, it’s the head librarian versus the fresh-out-of-rehab book shelver in an all-out, deadly war of the wills. Directed by three time LIFF alumni Tamar Halpern and stars Betsy Brandt of TV’s “Breaking Bad.”
A Q and A session with director, Tamar Halpern will follow the screening.
