Curtis Martin Solomon Of Barnegat Dies At 67
Service for former Port Authority engineer was private.

Curtis Martin Solomon, age 67, of Barnegat passed away on Tuesday, March 17 at Community Medical Center in Toms River.
Curtis was born in the Bronx, and resided since 1996 in Barnegat. He worked as an engineer for the Port Authority Trans Hudson for 23 years. He had a passion for restoring classic cars, particularly 1960s and 1970s muscle cars. On the weekends, Curtis and his wife Ruth attended classic car shows and enjoyed ending their night listening to the local rock bands play their music. He loved classic rock.
Curtis was predeceased by his parents Irving and Margaret (nee Smith) Solomon and son, Jeffrey Solomon. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Ruth-Ann Solomon (nee Blake), daughter Jill Solomon of Montville, NJ, sister Elaine Goldwater and nephew Scott Goldwater, both of Cape Coral, FL.
Cremation was private and under the direction of Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home, 335 South Main St, Barnegat, NJ 08005. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Solomon’s memory have been requested to the Golisano Children’s Hospital for the Lee Memorial Health System Foundation, P.O. Box 2218, Fort Myers, FL 33902.
