Dennis Adanatzian Of Manahawkin Dies At 72
Services for longtime teacher, co-owner of Country Corner Market in Ship Bottom will be held on Thursday and Friday.

Dennis Adanatzian, 72, of Manahawkin and Hobe Sound, Florida died Saturday, March 12, 2016.
Dennis was born to Sarop and Kathleen Adanatzian in Newark NJ in 1943. He retired from 30 years of teaching history and geography at Toms River Intermediate East in 1997. He was the co-owner of Country Corner Market in Ship Bottom. NJ.
He was predeceased by his wife Floraine Adanatzian and his brothers Eugene and Jack. Dennis is survived by his three children, son John and Diana Adanatzian of Manahawkin; son Sean and Holly Adanatzian of Ship Bottom; and daughter Kathleen and Ross Olcott Jr. of Ship Bottom. Pop-Pop leaves behind eight very loved grandchildren, Evan, Ryan and Ty Adanatzian of Manahawkin; Clare and Paul Adanatzian of Ship Bottom and Aidan, Finn and Colin Olcott of Ship Bottom. Dennis also leaves behind two sisters, Pat Adair of Ship Bottom and Kathleen Mazekien of Stuart, Florida.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Thos. L. Shinn Funeral Home 10 Hilliard Dr. Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2016 at St. Mary of the Pines Church, 100 Bishop Lane, Manahawkin. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery, Tuckerton, NJ.
