Dr. Roger T. Doyle Of Barnegat Light Dies At 78

Dr. Roger T. Doyle, 78, of Barnegat Light, died on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015 at his home.

Born in Boston, he moved to New Jersey, then moved to Barnegat Light in 1990. With the support of his loving wife, Roger devoted his life to the happiness of his children and encouraged their pursuit of sports and education. Even into his later years, he never lost his passion for his work as a dentist, serving the people of Jersey City for over 40 years.

He is predeceased by his wife Paula, who passed in 2010. He is survived by his children Erin and his wife Erica, Conor, Trevor, Ryan, and Kelly and her husband Brandon Cotter; his brother Richard, sisters Nancy Lee, Deborah Doyle and Susan Johnson; and his three loving grandchildren Nolan, Nora and Naomi.

Visiting will be Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd, Toms River. Funeral services Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
