Elizabeth J. 'Betty' Rinaldi Of Manahawkin Dies At 85

Elizabeth J. "Betty" (Rieken) Rinaldi, 85, of Manahawkin passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014.

Born in Teaneck and raised in River Vale and Westwood, NJ, she resided in Paramus for thirty years before moving to Manahawkin over twenty years ago.

She was a member of Moose & Elks Lodge and the Seniors Club of Manahawkin and a former parishioner of Church of the Annunciation in Paramus. An avid bingo player, Betty also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, and especially time spent with family and friends. Prior to retiring, she was an inventory control coordinator with Dart-El Paso Industries in Paramus for more than 25 years. Previously, she was a telephone operator with NJ Bell for many years.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. Rinaldi, a loving and devoted mother of Daniel Rinaldi and wife Joyce and Frank Rinaldi and wife Chere, the cherished grandmother of Danny and Chrissy Rinaldi and the dear sister of Eleanor Drasheff, Evelyn Erb and the late Harriet Wagner.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, July 27, 2014, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, in Fair Lawn. A funeral service is planned for Monday, July 28, 2014, 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
