Enjoy Markets, Concerts This Week: Barnegat-Manahawkin Monday Manual

BARNEGAT-MANAHAWKIN, NJ —Barnegat and Stafford both have markets this week, along with free live concerts.

Welcome to the July 8 edition of the Monday Manual, highlighting important and fun events in Barnegat and Manahawkin.

Here's what's in store this week:

Monday, July 8

• Ask a Rutgers Master Gardener for help at the Stafford Library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Also at 10:30 a.m. is a children's program "Worms and Other Decomposters."
• The Stafford Farmers Market returns to Manahawkin Lake Park from 4 p.m. to dusk. There are no daytime markets this summer. At 6:30 p.m., enjoy Ridgemont High performing at the pavilion.
• The Stafford Township Board of Education meets at 6 p.m. at Oxycocus Elementary School.
• The Barnegat Township Zoning Board meets at 7 p.m. On the agenda is the age-restricted apartment complex on Erin Way.

Wednesday, July 10

• The Southern Regional Board of Education meets at 6 p.m.
• The Stafford Township Planning Board meets at 7 p.m.

Thursday, July 11

• The Barnegat Farmers Market is held at 11 Birdsall St. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• CustomBlendBand performs free concerts at Fred Watts Gazebo Park (Route 9 & East Bay Ave.) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
