Lighthouse Film Society Movie: JEREMY FINK AND THE MEANING OF LIFE

Based on a coming-of-age tale by Wendy Mass about a sorrowful 12 year old boy whose father died when he was 7, the movie is a "wistful, warm and wise adventure for the whole family." Just before his 13th birthday, Jeremy Fink receives an elaborately locked wooden box from his late father, a present that is supposed to hold the "Meaning of Life." But the keys are missing. Accompanied by his best friend Lizzy Muldoun, Jeremy embarks on a quest to find the keys. Along the way they are dispatched on various errands, encounter a variety of eccentric characters and life's lessons unfold. Maxwell Beer who plays Jeremy Fink and Ryan Simpkins who plays Lizzy Muldoun will attend this NJ Premiere Screening along with Director Tamar Halpern. They will all participate in the Q & A after the movie.

The time and cost of this movie make it a wonderful family event!
