Although there are organizations, foundations, groups and many individuals dedicated to planetary awareness, altruism, and civilized intelligence, the United States by some opinions is spiritually weak overall, and mired in vulgar materialism. With the exception of those who protect this nation with honor and dignity, Americans suffer from a decline in morality and a lack of consciousness. Yet few are willing to speak out for evolved ideals or inherent honor. Both the United States government and American society are exemplified in the country’s malignant media which acclaims an egotistical culture of spectator sensationalism and narcissistic superficiality, while not noticing the loss of individualism, the integrity of values, depreciation of history and a great land. That which prevails is a society in decay, based on acquiescence of privacy, endless consumption and thoughtless pleasures, never reaching for anything greater within the high-level of human possibilities.
