Fourth of July Fireworks 2016 Guide: Barnegat Fireworks May Start Earlier Due Bad Weather

The concert and Fourth of July fireworks show in Barnegat Township tonight may start earlier than previously planned, due to possible heavy rain, Barnegat police said on their Facebook page.

The fireworks display may begin as early as 8:15 p.m., rather that at dusk. The free concert by ReUnited will start at 7 p.m. at the Barnegat Municipal Dock at 427 East Bay Avenue. If the concert has to be moved indoors, it will be held at the Brackman Middle School at 600 Barnegat Boulevard. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
