Free Varicose Vein Screenings & Workshop June 17

Got varicose veins? Learn about the latest treatments and get a free vein screening from a leading local vein doctor.

A medical expert will provide free varicose-vein screenings and a free workshop in the Manahawkin area.

Jeffrey Hager, DO, FACOS, will provide the talk and screening on Wednesday, June 17, at 2 p.m. at Meridian Fitness and Wellness. The facility is located at 700 South Main Street, West Creek, NJ 08092.

Varicose veins are a true medical condition – not just a cosmetic issue. These thick, bulging veins worsen if left untreated.

“They become more painful, swollen, and eventually damage the skin,” explains Dr. Hager, noting men and women can both be affected.

The latest varicose vein treatments include non-surgical techniques that are often pain-free, require little recovery time and are covered by many health insurance plans.

During the free vein screenings, Dr. Hager will examine each participant’s varicose veins, provide recommendations and discuss treatment options.
