Fundraiser Set for BHS Varsity Cheerleader Trip to Florida

The Barnegat High School Varsity Cheerleaders will once again be going to The UCA Nationals Competition in Orlando, Florida, and an upcoming fundraiser should help send them on their way. 

Last year, the team placed third in the U.S. in their division at the National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, Fla. That year, the girls captured the third-place spot in the Large Varsity Division II category, besting about 30 of the top teams of their size from similarly sized schools around the country.

To help with travel expenses for this year, Marchioni's Pizza & Pasta Restaurant located in the Genuardi's Plaza will be hosting BHS Cheerleader Day from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday Jan. 27th, 2013.

Marchioni's will be donating 15% of eat in bills to the team.
