Harold 'Bud' Maxson Jr. Of Waretown Dies
Services for local mason contractor will be held on Wednesday.

Harold “Bud” Maxson Jr., of Waretown passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015.
In his early years, Bud was a professional boxer for four years. He was a past president of Jersey Coast Shark Anglers, member of the Lacey Elks, President of Highlands Rod and Gun Club, member of Lacey Golf League and K.D. Golf League. He loved to travel to Alaska, where he loved to fish.

Bud was a mason contractor for 40 years, everyone has probably seen his work if they’ve visited McDonalds. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and clammer. When retiring he started commercial fishing and clamming up to the day he came down with cancer.
Bud is predeceased by his children, Buddy and Renee. Surviving are his wife Judy, children, Missy, Donna, and Jason and wife Laurie all of Brick and step-children Dr. Tom Dennis and wife Lisa of Maryland, Sherri and husband Jim of Bayville, and Marc Dennis of Waretown. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, with a religious service at 5:30pm at “The Family Owned” Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main Street, Toms River. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bud’s name to Wounded Warriors Project PO BOX 758517 Topeka, KS 66675. Condolences can be sent to carmonabolenfh.com
