Harold L. Schwartz Jr. Of Manahawkin Dies At 86

Harold L. Schwartz Jr., 86, of Manahawkin, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015, at Sea Crest Village.

Mr. Schwartz was a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force from 1946-1949. He was the former chief of police for Little Ferry and a volunteer fireman. He was a member and treasurer of the Cedar Run Assembly of God Church and the Gideons International.

He is survived by his niece, Susan Bottieri (Richard) of Woodbridge and his great-nephew, Roman Ozimek. A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Cedar Run Assembly of God Church, Route 9, Cedar Run. Private interment will be at Brig. General Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown.
