Watch Thursday's Debate Online

Didn't make it to last night's forum at the Brackman School? You can still hear what the five candidates for township committee had to say.

Barnegat Patch offered a live broadcast of the debate, and a recording of that broadcast is available for viewing online.

Unfortunately, due to a technical glitch, the first few minutes of the broadcast – including candidates' opening statements – weren't recorded. The video begins as the candidates respond to a question about the township's use of open space funds for recreation and other purposes.

Some questions were asked by residents at the debate; because they were off camera, you'll only hear their questions. Others were submitted in writing and were read by moderator Blanche Krubner.
