Nearly 365 days of battling insurance companies, FEMA, the State and everything and all in between. I have tried getting my voice heard in newspapers, radio and any publication or social media and internet option I could. For nearly a year I have campaigned when possible to gather troops up and resist against the cut-throat greedy machine known as the flood carrier and the NFIP, to get our claims paid as they justly should. Begging for people to step up and speak up. No point just being mad as hell, let those responsible know. I went to the Toms River Assembly and Senate Committee meeting last week and listened to hundreds of testimonies. After I thought, "ok they've woken the giant". The day after I received a call to participate in a program on Fox TV regarding the storm and getting the word out about what the issues were. Today I found out it was cancelled because not enough people responded and agreed to go on the show. REALLY FOLKS....are you that shy about going on National TV to get help? Are you really that selfish and can't see how many thousands and thousands of families we could possibly help by being seen nationally? So I say, if you are not willing to stand up and fight for what is truly yours and due you. Then you get what you deserve which will be nothing if you let the insurance carriers win.
