Jersey Central Power And Light Plans Routine Helicopter Inspections Of Transmission Lines Through Mid-September
Work should be finished by mid-to-late September.
Don't be alarmed over the next several weeks if you spot a helicopter hovering over Waretown.
The helicopter from Haverfield Aviation will be performing routine inspections of all Jersey Central Power & Light transmission lines in Ocean Township during part of September.
The activity will be performed on a full-time basis until the inspections are complete, sometime in mid to late September, according to the police department's Facebook page.

The helicopter is a black, Hughes MD500, with the tail registration number N1097J.
