Karen McTigue Mills, 69, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Karen was born in Newark, NJ on November 14, 1946.
She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Mills, her daughter, Michelle Mills and her grandchildren; Allison Kern and Michael Scott, Jr. Karen is also survived by her brother Brian McTigue and his wife, Karen and her sisters; Andrea Robles, and Jeannine Hand and her husband, Bryan.

She was a homemaker and also worked as a home health aide.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. t0 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ. A funeral home service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 2016. Interment will follow at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
