Kelly Relative Contends He Was Qualified For County Corrections Job
Michael J. Fromosky said he barely saw Freeholder John P. Kelly.

The man Freeholder John P. Kelly wanted for the newly-created position of ”Division Director” of the Ocean County Corrections Department says he was qualified for the controversial position, according to The Sandpaper.
Fromosky contends the job ”wasn’t new” but said County Administrator Carl W. Block and county officials changed the title to make the position unclassified.
Fromosky also said he ”believed” he was approached by Kelly about the job opening on Feb. 2 at an event with the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office for the debut of the Project Medicine Drop.

Fromosky has returned to Little Egg Harbor Township, not as assistant township administrator - a job he once held - but as a ”code enforcement officer-trainee” at a robust salary of $55,000, according to the Asbury Park Press.
Fromosky, 52, who is married to Kelly’s stepniece, Deborah Kelly Fromosky, has already started his latest job in Little Egg Harbor.
“County Republican leaders admitted privately they arranged the transfer to save Kelly from himself and the damage he has caused to the Board of Freeholders,” the app.com story states.
