This coming Saturday 10/26 will be your last chance to enjoy the Restore the Gore-Haunted School Bus Ride. Last week was a huge success with smaller riders having fun spotting characters along the route and saving others who rode on their bus. After that there was a bunch of Zombies and even a creepy organ player hidden in the deepest darkest corners of Barnegat just waiting to SPRING out at the brave souls on the school bus. I understand the Zombie virus is still quite active and their numbers have grown.
Besides the haunted school bus ride there will once again, be games such as Shoot the Zombie and a trailer Party Crashers game as well. There will be warm cider and treats as well. We will have local vendors and fun galore.
Hopefully the entire community will come out and once again experience the fun of downtown Barnegat. The fun will be happening right behind the "spirited" Elizabeth V. Edwards school. The event starts at 5 pm and weather permitting lasts to 10 pm. There is plenty of parking along Water street and Birdsall street as well as the municipal lot off Route 9 and the old Post Office. there is limited parking at the old Board office located on Birdsall Street.
Don't miss out the local ghosts might just be snow birds and not return till after the winter. See you all there!
