LBI's Scojo's Eatery Says No Property Sale Is Imminent
The property for the popular Long Beach Island restaurant is for sale. But the owners say they've entertained offers since opening in 1998.

SURF CITY, NJ — A popular Long Beach Island restaurant dispelled speculation that its owners planned to sell its property.
The property for Scojo's Eatery is listed for sale on mylbihome.com, which prompted social media discussion on the restaurant's future. But the owners said Friday morning that they've been entertaining offers for the property since they opened in 1998. No sale is imminent.
The owners and staff posted the following Friday morning on the Scojo's Facebook page:

"We may find a buyer from this listing....(or not) ...but until the time comes that we do sell - we promise that we will remain the Scojo's that you know and love - and that loves it's "Scojo's Family" right back, just as we have all these years. So you are stuck with our Happy Faces for the foreseeable future."
Scojo's has been a staple among Long Beach Island eateries. The family owned and operated restaurant offers casual dining and emphasizes a friendly atmosphere.
