Learn About Resiliency Planning With Workshop In Stafford

The Resilient Stafford Planning Workshop on March 14 will cover short- and long-term resiliency in the township.

STAFFORD, NJ — Curious about how Stafford plans for resiliency in the township? All are invited to Tuesday's "Resilient Stafford Planning Workshop" to learn more about short- and long-term planning.

The workshop is set for March 14 at 6 p.m. It is presented in the Town Council Meeting Room at 260 E. Bay Ave. by township officials along with representatives from Owen, Little & Associates and Ramboll Group.

Climate resiliency has been a focus for Stafford officials, particularly for residents living in high risk areas.

Stafford was also a recent recipient of a $5 million NJ Department of Environmental Protection grant to improve more than 33 acres of shoreline at the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge. Read more: $5 Million Grant Awarded For Stafford Living Shoreline Project
