Long Beach Township Police: Flooding Closes Sections Of Boulevard
Use Beach Avenue as an alternative.

This morning’s high tide has flooded the Boulevard between 66th Street and 92nd Street, Long Beach Township police said on their Facebook page.
The road is closed in those sections. Drivers are asked to use Beach Road as an alternate route.
The National Weather Service is calling for moderate coastal flooding this morning and major flooding in certain areas during the lastest high tide this morning.

“Roadway flooding will persist overnight,” the NWS said. “Widespread roadway flooding and some damage to vulnerable structures is expected on Tuesday morning. Wave action will result in significant beach erosion.”
