Man Admits To Dealing Drugs In Atlantic, Ocean Counties

Khaadim Abdullah, of Mays Landing, pleaded guilty to distributing methamphetamine after he was caught in a multi-agency drug bust.

MAYS LANDING, NJ — An Mays Landing man admitted to dealing drugs throughout Atlantic and Ocean counties, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said.

Khaadim Abdullah, 28, pleaded guilty to distribution of methamphetamine in an amount greater than five ounces on Dec. 4, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said. Abdullah faces 13 years in New Jersey State Prison.

During July and August 2022, numerous agencies collaborated to investigate the distribution of methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin/fentanyl throughout Atlantic and Ocean counties.

This investigation identified three homes, two in Mays Landing and one in Atlantic City, as being used by Abdullah and his associates to store and distribute narcotics, Billhimer said.

On Aug. 18, 2022, detectives from multiple agencies set up stationary and mobile surveillance on three homes, Billhimer said.

They watched Abdullah as he traveled in the Little Egg Harbor area, went onto the Garden State Parkway and then exited on a dirt road in Galloway, Billhimer said.

He then fled the vehicle on foot, discarding items in the woods, Billhimer said. He was eventually caught and taken into custody.

After, detectives executed court-authorized search warrants on the three residences, Billhimer said. From there, detectives seized about 14 ounces of methamphetamine, 3,550 wax folds of heroin, paraphernalia indicative of narcotics manufacturing and distribution, a stolen handgun and $14,900 in cash, Billhimer said.

Abdullah was taken to Ocean County Jail and then released due to bail reform.
