Man Charged with Sexually Assaulting Two Girls He Met on Online Dating Site
Joseph Corio, 22, Middletown, also faces two counts of endangering the welfare of a child for incidents in Little Egg Harbor.

The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office arrested a Middletown man and charged him with sexually assaulting two girls, one 15, one 13, after meeting the older girl on an online dating site, spokesman Al Della Fave said.
Ocean County Prosecutor Special Victims Detective Stephanie Bayha and Little Egg Harbor Township police Detective Steve Martin, arrested Joseph Corio, 22, on March 15 and charged him with two counts of sexual assault and two counts on endangering the welfare of a child, he said.
An investigation by the two detectives revealed that the 15-year-old met Corio on a dating website and began an "inappropriate" sexual relationship. The older victim then introduced the 13-year-old to Corio, who then engaged in sexual acts with the younger girl, Della Fave said.

The incidents took place in Little Egg Harbor, he said.
Corio was arrested after Bayha, Martin, OCPO Detective John Dotto and Ocean County Sheriff’s Department CSI Detective Ralph Laudicina executed a search warrant at the suspect's residence and his vehicle, Della Fave said.

Ocean County Superior Court Judge Wendel E. Daniels approved the complaint authorizing the above charges and set Corio's bail at $100,000 cash. He also ordered no contact between Corio and the victims, pursuant to Nicole's Law, Della Fave said.
