Man Distributed Child Porn While Living In Waretown: Feds

The man, who now lives in Atlantic County, was convicted in 2014 for several child pornography offenses.

WARETOWN, NJ — A man was indicted Friday for distribution and possession of child pornography, which authorities say occurred while he lived in Waretown. Stephen Tisch, who now lives in Atlantic County, was convicted of child pornography offenses in 2014.

An investigation revealed Tisch distributed child pornography on a social media chat forum while living in Waretown, according to U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito. A search of Tisch's home revealed several images of child exploitation on his phone, authorities said.

Tisch, currently of Minotola, was previously arrested for child pornography and distribution while working as a custodian in 2012 in the Toms River Regional School District. The district suspended him. Tisch was convicted in Ocean County two years later.
