Marion B. Sprague Of Manahawkin Dies At 84
Longtime Southern Ocean County resident lived in Beach Haven for 50 years before moving to Manahawkin.

Marion B. Sprague, 84, of Manahawkin, passed away with her family by her side on Monday, April 13, 2015, at home.
Born in Brooklyn, Marion lived in Beach Haven for 50 years prior to moving to Manahawkin, where she resided since 2001. She was a nursing supervisor at Community Medical Center, Toms River before her retirement. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Long Beach Island Lodge, as well as a member of Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, Long Beach Island.
She is predeceased by her son, Forrest D. Sprague and her granddaughter, Jenna Reso. Marion is survived by her loving husband, Charles David Sprague; her four daughters, Yvonne Cribbs, Valerie Reso, Lynnette McAuliffe-Thomas and Christine Butler; her brother, Forrest Phillips; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, 410 S. Atlantic Ave., Beach Haven, NJ 08008.
