Mayor Race, Six Council Seats Up For Grabs In Stafford
Mayor John Spodofora is seeking re-election, 12 file for council seats.

A lot is at stake in the 2015 Stafford Township municipal election, including the mayor’s seat and control of the Township Council.
Republican Mayor John R. Spodofora is seeking another term after a brutal primary race. He will go up against Democrat and former councilwoman Joanne B. Sitek.

Spodofora won the Republican mayoral primary in June, over his two challengers, Township Councilman Henry Mancini and Conservative Mike Mazzuca.
Spodofora is running on the ”Moving Stafford Forward” slate with current council members Sharon McKenna, Steven Fessler, local business owners David J. Taylor and Paul Marchal, retired U.S. Marine Corps Col. Alan Smith and Steven M. Jeffries.

Spodofora and his slate will run against Sitek and Democrats Brian Corley White, Joan M. Westervelt, Nicole Downs, Helen Cocuzza, Kevin Teeple and Denise Pobicki.
