McCabe and Caputo Prevail Over Independent Challengers In A Narrow Victory
All of Barnegat's voting districts have been tallied by the Ocean County Clerk's Office.

Republican Mayor Susan McCabe and her running mate Frank Caputo edged out Independent challengers William Cox and Denise Pilovsky in the race for the two, three-year terms on the Barnegat Township Committee.
Caputo received the highest number of votes, with 1,717 or 24.04 percent, according to the Ocean County Clerk’s Office. McCabe was second with 1,635 votes, or 22.9 percent.

Cox and Pilovsky conducted a spirited campaign, primarily on Facebook. Cox received 1,489 votes or 20.85 percent and Pilovsky received 1,447 votes, or 20.26 percent.
