4-Day Drone Search For Manahawkin Man Who's In Possible Danger
Police have now been searching – using drones – for a NJ man who has been missing for four days, police said.
Police have now been searching for a New Jersey man who has been missing for four days, police said. And he may be in danger, and police have undergone exensive efforts to find the man, including using drones.
Bu Quach, 65, who has dementia, was last seen at the Manahawkin Nursing & Rehabilitation Center at 1211 Route 72, Manahawkin, on Friday around 12 noon.
Over the weekend, search teams went door-to-door to nearly all of the residences in the eastern portion of Ocean Acres, including searching the surrounding wooded areas, sheds, gazebos, crawl spaces, under decks, and anywhere Quach may have been sheltered and hiding, police said.

The Stafford Township Police and the Long Beach Township Police utilized drones in the wooded and open areas behind the Manahawkin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Stafford Township also sent out three reverse 911 calls asking residents to be on the lookout for Quach and to also check their properties.

Stafford police provided an older photo, and he has grown his hair out longer. His hair is be salt and pepper dark brown and gray.

Quach is 5 foot 3 inches tall and weighs approximately 120 points. He has a shaved/short hair goatee and was last seen wearing a red sweater, dark green pant, and yellow wristband.
Between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday, the Stafford Township Police Department, the New Jersey State Police Missing Person Unit and several volunteer Search & Rescue teams continued the search for Quach.
Based on the last eyewitness sighting of Quach, which had been on Friday evening in the area of Lighthouse Drive and Treasure Avenue, the Stafford police and the search-and-rescue teams searched in high probability areas, police said.
High probability areas are based on Quach's dementia mental condition, police said.
