Motorcyclist Killed In Southern Ocean Co. U-Turn Crash: Police
A motorcyclist was killed when a car parked on the shoulder of Route 539 attempted to make a U-turn and struck him, police said.
LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NJ — A motorcyclist was killed by a driver making a U-turn in Little Egg Harbor Sunday afternoon, police said.
The motorcyclist, only identified by police as a 30-year-old man from West Creek, was heading northbound on Route 539 at the Garden State Parkway overpass at about 2 p.m. Sunday, Little Egg Harbor police said.
A passenger vehicle that had been parked on the shoulder of the road then attempted to make a U-turn, police said. The motorcycle collided with the driver's side of the car, and the motorcyclist was ejected from the bike, police said. The vehicle's driver was not immediately identified by police.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
