"The Music Man" comes to Barnegat!

BARNEGAT - Our Gang Players community theater group is proud to present our production of "The Music Man," July 1st – 3rd.

“The Music Man” details how a fast-talking traveling salesman cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a kids’ band he vows to organize, despite the fact he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef! The salesman plans to skip town with the cash but his plans are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall.

The performance, by theater members of all ages, will be held at the Barnegat High School, 180 Bengal Blvd. Barnegat, N.J. on Friday and Saturday, July 1 and 2, at 7:00 pm and on Sunday, July 3, at 2:00 pm.
