Mustache Bill's Diner In Barnegat Light Named One Of Top Ten Diners In New Jersey

Fame has come to Mustache Bill’s Diner in Barnegat Light, since its selection as one of the top 10 finalists in the Star-Ledger’s best diners throughout the state, according to nj.com

The project began in October, when readers were asked to nominate their favorite diners.

The list was narrowed to 10 after Peter Genovese and his Munchmobile crew visited 40 diners. They first came up with a list of 40 semi-finalists, 20 voted in by readers, 20 chosen by Genovese.

Genovese will visit two diners a day over the next five days, with readers aboard the Munchmobile. The best diner in the state will be announced at noon on Dec. 17 by live stream.

“Those joining me on the Munchmobile will be acting in an advisory capacity; the selection of the overall winner will be mine alone,” Genovese said. Here is the day-by-day schedule of finalist visits.
