National Night Out Set For This Week In Stafford
The night of fun includes the fireworks that were postponed on this year's Founder's Day.

STAFFORD, NJ — Join the Stafford Township community and your local police for a fun-filled evening at this year's National Night Out.
Head to the Doc Cramer Sports Complex on Aug. 1 from 5 p.m. to dusk for all sorts of fun, including fireworks postponed from Founder's Day going off at dusk.
There will be police and K9 demonstrations, face painting, a petting zoo, food trucks, a BMX bicycle, inflatables and more.

A highlight of the night is a flyover by the United States Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City.

The event is a coordination between the Stafford Township Police Department and Stafford Recreation.
"National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live," the event's official website reads. "National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances."
