New Perspective

A New Perspective- Ship Bottom Council

My name is Ken Yankowski and I am excited to be running for Ship Bottom Council. I'd like to share some information about my qualifications.

As the endorsed candidate by the Ship Bottom, Ocean County, and State Republican Party, I am committed to making a difference and have a proven track record of leadership. My professional journey spans over 37 years in leadership roles within a Fortune 300 company. One of my key strengths is my expertise in Public Works and Building Management. Throughout my career, I've overseen large teams, managed budgets, negotiated contracts, and ensured regulatory compliance. I am well-prepared to assume the responsibilities of Chairman of either of these crucial Borough Departments.

My technical proficiency in Drinking Water Safety and Waste Management further enables me to support the Water/Sewer Department, ensuring our borough remains compliant with water safety standards while optimizing costs.

I am a firm believer in conservatism and fiscal responsibility. I pledge to honor the council's past accomplishments while advocating for prudent spending, innovative solutions, and a fresh perspective to enhance our community and preserve our shoreline.
