Vicari is running on the Regular Republican Organization of Ocean County ticket. Paolella is running on the True Conservative Republican ticket.
Democrat Timothy E. Ryan, Isabella Court, Toms River, is running on the Official Regular Democratic Organization ticket. He is being challenged by Joseph Lamb, Wisteria Drive, Brick. Lamb is running on the Ocean County Democrats ticket.
Polls opened at 6 a.m. and will close at 8 p.m.
