No Guards On Harvey Cedars Bay Beach Today Due To Shortage
As summer winds down, fewer are available for guard duty.
Although all ocean beaches in Harvey Cedars will remain guarded today, that is not the case with the bay beach, according to the Harvey Cedars Beach Patrol Facebook page.
"Bay Beach will be unguarded today due to guard shortages...it's that time of year," according to a post.

"We have a risk of rip currents and larger swell today," the post states. "Use caution and keep a close eye on your young children, keep them away from shore break. Only swim when and where lifeguards are on duty!"
