No Township Council President In Stafford This Year
Council members couldn't agree on a selection.

For the first time in a long time, no one on the Stafford Township Council dais will hold the title of Council President.
“We have no council president,” Township Clerk Bernadette Park said.
Council members did take a vote on whether to appoint Councilwoman Lori Wyrsch at the Jan. 6 reorganization meeting, but tied at 3-3.

Council members Robert Kusznikow, Sharon McKenna and Stephen Fessler voted no. Council members Paul Krier, Henry Mancini and Wyrsch voted yes. Mayor John Spodofora abstained.
The mayor and the council continued on with the 13-minute meeting, with no more discussion on the position.

When asked if it was unusual to go without a council president, Parks said ”Yes it is.”
No other council members were nominated after the split vote.
“According to the mayor, he advised me that it’s a done deal,” she said. ”That’s how it ended.”
