Ocean County College is partnering with the Ocean County Board of REALTORS® to bring real estate classes to the public

The Ocean County Board of REALTORS® and Ocean County College are forming a partnership to bring real estate salesperson courses to the public.

After meeting with Patricia Fenn, Assistant Vice President of Continuing Education, Workforce Development and Community Relations, and Michael Forcella, Manager of Business Engagement of the Continuing Education and Professional Education department at OCC, it was decided that a new real estate program guide would begin January 2016, in time for the Spring semester. The real estate program will be available to the public at both the Toms River OCBR location and the Manahawkin OCC campus.

OCC has shown dedication to the local community, and this new course offering is just one of the opportunities available. OCC is also providing educational Summer Camps for Kids for children ages 3 to 17, and Senior Summer Sessions, which aims to educate residents of local adult communities about various topics, including Classic American Poets and Discovering Your Past by Utilizing Ancestry.com. OCC is also partnering with OCBR by offering basic business technology program training to OCBR members, which included topics like Microsoft Excel and Google.
