Ocean County REALTORS(R) donate money and time to charity

The Ocean County Board of REALTORS® Charitable Foundation aims to provide grants of funds for qualified community organizations within Ocean County, and to perform services that will benefit the community of Ocean County. The Ocean County Board of REALTORS® Charitable Foundation distributed $4,000 to 4 different food banks located in Ocean County on December 12th, 2014. On December 18th, 2014, with the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, the Charitable Foundation donated $8,000 to the American Cancer Society. The Women’s Council of REALTORS® and Charitable Foundation raised this money through the incredibly successful “Bras for a Cause” event that was held in late October to benefit breast cancer research.
The REALTORS® Community Service Committee, a committee made up of members of the Ocean County Board of REALTORS®, also lent a hand in helping the community. On December 12th, 2014, in conjunction with the Ocean County Board of REALTORS® Charitable Foundation, the REALTORS® Community Service Committee made a donation of $4,000 that was distributed to several Ocean County charities.
In total, committees within the Ocean County Board of REALTORS® donated $16,000 for local charities in order to enhance the community of Ocean County. Many members have also donated their time and energy, from organizing charitable events to assisting local charities with projects.
