Man told one woman he was looking for his dog, police say.

Waretown police are looking for a man who tried to break into several Spruce Street homes and told another woman he was looking for his dog, all on the same night, according to the police department's Facebook page.
The incidents all happened on May 24. Police responded to a home on Dock Road at 8:10 p.m. on a report of a burglary. Police are looking for a white male, described as 5'9" to 5'11" tall, with a stocky build. He was wearing light-colored shorts, possibly jeans shorts, gray shirt and a faded, light-colored baseball cap.
He tried to unsuccessfully to enter the Dock Road home through a side window. He then crossed over Bay Parkway and tried to break into another residence. He then walked north on Spruce and knocked on the door of another home. The resident said the man told him he was looking for his dog, police said.
