It takes place at the Joseph A Citta Campground in Barnegat, NJ on Friday and Saturday, October 24-25 (Rain Date 10/26).

In the early hours, Operation Halloween is filled with fun for the whole family. Take a walk down Pumpkin Street and enjoy face painting, hayrides (non-scary), and a hay maze.

During these hours the kids can take those Halloween Costumes out for a test drive and go trick or treating along Pumpkin Street which is filled with non-profit vendors, games, and information tables.

In addition to the vendors and information booths on Pumpkin Street, at 7:00 PM the two haunted attractions open up for the more daring among us.

Climb aboard the Jersey Devil Hayride and take a ride through the haunted NJ Pine Barrens. Keep hands and feet inside the tractor at all time...or risk going home with fewer hands and feet.

Still not scared? Then take a walk through Zombie Outbreak, the main event at Operation Halloween. Something strange is happening that’s caused the dead to rise and feed on the living. Not to worry, the Zombie Contingency Agency has been called into action to contain the undead menace. The highly trained ZCA Agents will guide you through the depths of the woods that are crawling with zombies.

Tickets for the haunted attractions are $8 in advance and include unlimited re-entry to both attractions for one day. Tickets will also be on sale at the camp the nights of the event for $10. All proceeds go to benefit the various participating non-profit groups.

Visit ZombieOutbreak.org for tickets and information.
