Operation Halloween Takes Place at The Joseph A. Citta Scout Reservation

Operation Halloween is a charity Halloween Festival that includes both scary and kid-friendly fun that is hosted by the Southern Ocean Rotary Club and The Jersey Shore Council Boy Scouts of America. The event is held October 23rd – 24th at the Joseph A. Citta Scout Reservation in Barnegat, NJ!

From 4:00 – 7:00 PM: there are free kids games and activities at Pumpkin Street. There the whole family can trick or treat, roam a hay maze, paint a pumpkin, or make their own scarecrow at one the booths hosted by one of many local non-profit groups.

Additionally, there will be a bounce house, giant inflatable slide, and the kid-friendly Munchkin Hayride ($5.00 admission for all).

From 7:00 – 10:00 PM, Operation Halloween’s signature haunted attractions come alive.

For the brave among you, climb aboard the tractor for the Jersey Devil haunted hayride and take a tour through the worst that the haunted New Jersey Pine Barrens has to offer.

As if that weren’t enough, you’ll soon find yourself in the midst of the apocalypse at the main event – Zombie Outbreak. The legions of the undead have risen and they’ve begun to attack and feed on the living. Fear not, the ZCA has been called into action. Our team of highly trained Anti-Zombie Commandos will cover you as you make your way through infected zone to safety. What could possibly go wrong?
